How do I change my location?
To be able to provide you the ability to search for prices and products across retailers the Frugl Grocery app needs to know which stores it should be searching. To do this we let you set a location when you first install the app which becomes the default search location.
You may have noticed as part of the onboarding you went through when you first logged into the app that you were prompted to either allow the app to access your location OR if you opted out for that you could set a location manually using a postcode. During that process the location that you set was used to derive the nearest stores to that location to use for searching, browsing or just putting prices on your shopping note.
You can update your location through the Preferences under the Account menu. If you are in the app, tap on the 3 lines in the top left hand corner of the app to access the My Account menu. From there you can select ‘Preferences’ to access the location settings. In this menu enter a new postcode location in the provided box and you will be prompted to select a new suburb. After that is done, the app will figure out the nearest stores and update all prices for you ready to use.
If for whatever reason there was an issue during the initial setting of your location, the app will set a default location for you which is Sydney, Australia. This default location can then be changed in your User Preferences.
