Sometimes you may not want to add an item to a dedicated list and just may want to bookmark something or have things you like be highlighted in your searches, for that we have favouriting. To favourite an item it is as simple as tapping on the heart on screen but if you are having trouble finding it, it is available in more than one place.
When you view items in a list (either your own lists or a list of search results) each product has a small greyed out heart right above the best price available listing. If you tap on that greyed out heart it will turn red indicating your have favourited it.
Alternatively if you are looking at the details of a product a similar looking heart will be visible at the top right of the screen which you can also tap to favourite or unfavourite as you wish.
You can unfavourite and favourite any product in any place where you see the little heart icon. You do not need to do it in an particular place for it to be added to your favourites list (see viewing your favourites below) or show as a favourite in your search results.
Viewing Your Favourites
Once you have favourited your items you can view them by going to your lists and selecting the favourites list in your personal lists right in the middle of the screen. You do not have to set this up before you can use it, the favourites list is created for you when you create your Frugl Grocery account just like the Fridge and Pantry lists. However, while you can delete your Pantry and Fridge list to make another one or share it with others, your favourites list is just for you and cannot be deleted accidentally.
Favourites do have one added benefit if you have allowed for notifications from the app. If you haven’t been looking for the best prices in the last 2 weeks and any of the items that you have favourited have a significant savings on them, the Frugl Grocery app will send you a notification to let you know it is worth scrolling through.
Just a little extra assistance aimed to help you save.
