I also tried a link for the app but I get a weird error
Frugl Grocery supports sharing and logging in without a password using a technology called Deep Links. Deep Links are available on both Android and iOS devices and appear as regular text hyperlinks or weblinks and work similar to when you have a file associated with a particular program on your desktop or laptop.
When you click on a Deep Link your device will look for an app that corresponds with that link to pass the information in the link to like a shortcut to inside that particular app.
If you try a Deep Link for Frugl Grocery and have an issue there is a few things that could be the problem:
- If clicking on a link brings you to this support section the you might be clicking on the link from a desktop or laptop device and not on a device that has the Frugl Grocery app installed
- If you are sharing a link from the Frugl Grocery app to someone else and when they click on it it takes them to the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store listing for the Frugl Grocery app they might not have the app installed and will need to do so before using the link again
- If you are still having issues with a Deep Link on your device only where others are able to, very rarely this could be caused by a bad install where your device is missing the association for links with the app. If this is the case you should try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (don’t worry your lists and favourites are not stored directly on the device so you will not lose them)
